Reception turned away urgent health concern that day

The clinical care provided following the appointment was excellent and made a significant positive difference to my father's health. However, there are concerns about an earlier visit when my father presented with concerning vital signs and an abnormal test result. On that occasion, my father was not referred to hospital despite the clinical findings, and when my sister attempted to arrange a doctor's assessment, she was unable to obtain one. Additionally, there appears to be a delay in the alert system for abnormal self-recorded measurements reaching clinical staff, with a lag of more than two hours occurring when more immediate notification would have been appropriate.
