Receptionist assumed without asking first

Many of the reception staff would benefit from asking for clarification rather than making assumptions. I had only been registered for two months when an interaction with a female receptionist resulted in a complaint being made about me, with an attempt to have me transferred to another practice. This occurred because there appeared to be doubt about my registration status at the surgery, despite my living circumstances being as stated. This staff member questioned my account of events, which I found concerning given the professional setting and the attitude displayed during our interaction.
