Receptionist barely awake monday morning

When I attempted to schedule an appointment for Wednesday on a Monday morning, the receptionist seemed half-asleep and dismissively mentioned plenty of slots were available, but I'd need to call back Wednesday morning for emergency bookings. Seriously? What an utterly ridiculous system! I was trying to plan ahead, not seeking an emergency slot, so why the complicated runaround? This absurd approach perfectly illustrates why I typically avoid dealing with this medical practice altogether. They need to get their act together - this is completely unacceptable.
