Receptionist Hung Up Twice at New Medical Centre

I experienced the frustrating situation of being abruptly disconnected twice by the same receptionist when I was simply trying to schedule an appointment with a general practitioner to obtain a new prescription. Even after explaining that I was new to both the area and the medical centre and needed a GP, she dismissively suggested I go to the pharmacy. Ultimately, I managed to connect with a helpful intern, and the pharmacy assisted me on my second attempt. Additionally, I encountered another instance of being hung up on while attempting to book an appointment, as I was unaware that only same-day appointments were available - a policy different from my previous GP's approach. In the past, I had the option of e-consulting, which now seems to have been eliminated.
