Receptionist was dismissive and rushed me off the phone

Getting an appointment requires jumping through considerable hoops to demonstrate your need. After the receptionist evaluation, you receive a decision on whether an appointment will be granted. The practice would benefit from investing in staff development and communication skills for their front-line team. The receptionist I spoke with came across as dismissive, indicated that an appointment wasn't appropriate for my situation, and appeared keen to end the call quickly. This was quite disheartening. I would give a lower rating if it were possible to do so.
