Receptionist was rude and unhelpful with sick note

I managed to secure an appointment after being persistent, though I was seen by a practice nurse rather than my preferred choice. This wasn't quite what I was hoping for. I required documentation for my absence from work, but didn't receive guidance on how to obtain it. Having been away from work for a week while still unwell has been quite stressful, and I felt the surgery could have done more to ease this burden. Additionally, I found the reception staff to be somewhat unwelcoming. I believe the team should remember they exist to serve patients, and that good patient care and communication are fundamental to what they do.
