Receptionists here need serious attitude adjustment

In my experience, the receptionists consistently adopt an attitude of superiority, treating patients with an air of self-importance. They claim zero tolerance for any "form of abuse," which is reasonable. Yet, I'm frequently subjected to discourteous, pompous, and occasionally snarky interactions from many receptionists - almost as if they're intentionally obstructing patient access to physicians. Why should a receptionist demand intricate medical specifics about a scheduled procedure just to facilitate communication with a doctor? Simply stating I have an upcoming operation should suffice; the specifics are irrelevant! I nostalgically recall the professional approach of Cape Road Surgery, where patient interactions were handled with genuine respect. It's truly disappointing how standards have declined.
