Receptionists made every phone call feel like an inconvenience

I am currently in the process of switching to a different practice and I cannot wait to make the change. While the clinical staff are satisfactory, I have significant concerns about the front desk team. I find their manner to be discourteous, lacking in compassion, and dismissive. It appears they may benefit from refresher training in professional communication and customer service standards. Each time I have contacted the practice by phone, I have felt treated as though I am an unwelcome burden. The overall attitude and tone have been unkind and unhelpful. I am particularly concerned about how vulnerable patients, such as young people accessing services for the first time, might be affected by this approach and whether they would feel confident enough to advocate for their own needs. I am keen to complete this transition as soon as possible.
