Receptionist's mistake ruined my appointment

I arranged a consultation through econsult with Dr. Beugelink, who had previously reached out to help me with my medical concerns and coordinate with other services. The receptionist confirmed my appointment for 10/04/25 on 03/04/25. Upon arriving at the practice, I was shocked to learn that no appointment existed, despite my prior confirmations with both the practice and pharmacy. Receptionist Mariana seemed almost amused, casually informing her colleague Christopher that the booking was not in their system. Christopher admitted he had failed to properly schedule my consultation. They suggested I return the next day, 11/04/25, but the proposed appointment was not even with Dr. Beugelink. After weeks of waiting to see this specific doctor who understood my case, I discovered Dr. Beugelink would be unavailable for two weeks, leaving me without appropriate medical support. When I called reception to express my frustration, Harriet was dismissive, claiming all their doctors were equally competent in all medical areas—a statement I know to be completely false. Their administrative incompetence has potentially compromised my health, and I am left without any satisfactory resolution to my medical needs.
