Receptionists need better phone manners

The clinical staff are pleasant, however most of the reception team could improve their approach bar one exception. It is extremely difficult to reach the practice by telephone. When calls are answered, there is often a lengthy wait and calls may be disconnected. When contact is established, the interaction can feel dismissive and lacking in courtesy, with an unnecessarily intrusive manner.
