Receptionists need to answer the phone

The medical staff are excellent, and I have no issues with the doctors themselves. However, the receptionist is a major problem. The phone constantly rings without being answered, and even if you manage to get through, the call is abruptly disconnected. This surgery desperately needs to hire more competent receptionists who take their responsibilities seriously. I've been dealing with health concerns for months and still can't schedule an appointment. When you visit the surgery in person to book, they instruct you to call at 8am, and if you explain that you've already tried, they claim the lines are busy - which is clearly false, as the phone is ringing and simply not being picked up by the staff member who should be answering it.
