My time at this GP surgery has been extremely disappointing. Managing referrals for my child has proven to be an ongoing struggle, with the surgery appearing to misplace or overlook referrals that were supposed to be submitted, requiring repeated contact attempts and extended waiting periods on the telephone. The reception staff have contributed significantly to this frustration through their unhelpful attitude, apparent lack of interest, and poor communication, which has made the experience feel unwelcoming. The way situations have been handled has added unnecessary stress during an already difficult time dealing with health concerns. Additionally, sensitive information and important test results were not managed appropriately, with reception staff errors resulting in my exam results going missing. This meant I had to undergo the test again and invest considerable time correcting these mistakes, demonstrating a concerning lack of care and precision that is difficult to accept. Furthermore, difficulties with processing a referral led to a two-month delay before I could access an abdominal scan, intensifying my frustration. In one particularly concerning instance, delays and mishandling of a referral related to my child's significant health matter caused avoidable worry and extended the time needed to address an important medical situation. Although I have found one clinician to be satisfactory, the overall standard of care at this GP surgery, largely due to unhelpful reception staff, has made this my most negative healthcare experience. I would encourage others to carefully consider whether this facility meets their needs before choosing to receive care there.
