Refused help with prescription before registration

I recently relocated a short distance away and have not yet had the opportunity to register with a new practice. I ran out of my medication and requested a prescription to tide me over until I could complete my registration elsewhere. Unfortunately, I felt the practice was unwilling to assist me during this transition period, despite having been a long-standing patient. I was disappointed with the level of service provided.
