I've been a patient at Station Road Surgery since relocating from London in 1969, and my family has continued to receive care here. Like many medical practices, the surgery has experienced various changes with staff turnover over the decades. Recently, the practice's reputation had significantly declined, with ratings dropping as low as 1.6 out of 5, which was undeniably poor. However, their current rating of 3.1 represents a substantial improvement. Throughout my long experience, I've consistently found this to be an exceptional medical facility where patients receive top-tier professional healthcare, regardless of which doctor they see. The reception staff, who are essentially the practice's first point of contact, have recently welcomed some wonderful new team members. I've found them incredibly supportive and genuinely committed to accommodating patient appointment requests, despite facing challenging daily pressures. While no medical practice is perfect, I'm optimistic that our Surgery will continue to progress and ultimately achieve the well-deserved 5-star rating.
