Repeat prescription delays caused weeks of frustration

I have no concerns about the nursing team, reception staff or clinical staff, as my interactions with them have been positive. However, I experienced significant difficulties with the repeat prescription service. Over a three-week period, I attempted multiple times to reorder my regular medication for a long-standing condition. Despite several conversations with reception staff, I was informed that no request had been submitted to the practice. I was also expecting a call from the in-house pharmacy on a Friday that did not materialise. Eventually, my prescription was processed today, but the process required numerous phone calls spread across three weeks, which felt unnecessarily prolonged for a routine repeat order.
