Rude doctor dismissed urgent police report

I cannot emphasize enough how dreadful this experience has been. The level of service, communication, and compassion has been absolutely abysmal. While I understand the NHS is under immense pressure, offloading that stress onto patients is completely unacceptable. The appointment process was frustrating from the start - two weeks of waiting followed by a 4-hour standby window for a phone call. Dr Trivedi called during my shower and immediately expressed frustration to my partner. From the moment we connected, he was hostile and made me feel like an inconvenience. After waiting weeks to speak with a doctor who seemingly hadn't even reviewed my notes, I was given mere minutes to explain my long-standing medical issue. When I raised a critical request for a police medical report, Dr Trivedi initially claimed they couldn't help. I was forced to quote the police letter explicitly stating my GP must provide this document. His response was dismissive and showed zero sensitivity to a delicate situation. He insisted I restart the entire econsult process, which would further delay matters. I ended the call in tears, utterly devastated by the complete lack of professional care. I genuinely question why he entered a profession fundamentally about helping people. Subsequently, I've been forced to restart the econsult, which means another week of waiting before even discussing the urgent request. The medical centre is clearly overwhelmed, and their practice of rotating doctors without maintaining patient continuity only worsens the situation. Each brief 5-minute appointment requires retelling your entire medical history, leaving patients feeling isolated and disregarded. While I've previously experienced compassionate doctors, getting one feels like pure chance. Isn't basic empathy the minimum expectation for healthcare professionals? Their complaint system is deliberately complicated, seemingly designed to discourage feedback. The fact that it took two years to even acknowledge this complaint speaks volumes about their systemic issues.
