Rude Receptionist Crushed My Patient Care Hope

I'd rate this zero stars if I could. The receptionist's demeanor is utterly appalling. When attempting to inquire about test results, I was confronted with a terrible attitude implying I hadn't allowed sufficient time for processing. Asking about a referral was met with a dismissive "yeah, it could take months, it's not exactly urgent, right?" Since when do receptionists become medical experts? It would be prudent to employ staff members who are actually capable of handling phone interactions with basic professionalism and empathy. If you're in a customer-facing role, you should be friendly and understanding, regardless of how insignificant you might perceive the patient's concerns to be.
