Rude receptionist made my prescription request unpleasant

I stopped by my doctor's office this morning to request a prescription refill. Regrettably, my interaction with the receptionist (who appeared to be of Asian descent) was far from pleasant. She seemed visibly irritated, repeatedly sighing, and was curt in her communication while struggling to locate the specific medication I needed. I found myself having to reiterate my request multiple times, which only heightened the anxiety of the encounter. As individuals seeking medical support during potentially challenging periods, we rely on our healthcare providers for compassion and understanding. It's truly disheartening when front-line staff demonstrate a lack of empathy and appear dismissive. A more considerate and patient-centered approach would significantly improve the experience for those already dealing with health-related stress. I sincerely hope the practice reflects on this feedback and works to enhance their patient interactions.
