Rude receptionist ruins healthcare experience completely

I recently switched from another medical practice to this healthcare facility. The receptionist is incredibly discourteous. I'm astonished by how she berated me. Their system is completely antiquated. Initially, I called about my routine prescription, and she told me to ask my pharmacist or send an email. When I consulted the pharmacist, he suggested using the MHS app. Upon calling back to verify, she insisted emailing would be best for documentation. She never communicated alternative methods. I proceeded with emailing, but received no confirmation. After two days, when my medication was depleted, I called in the morning hoping to collect it before work to avoid missing the pharmacy's closing hours. She immediately started yelling, questioning why I was calling at that time. I attempted to explain the urgency of my medication, but she demanded I call during my work break. Instead of simply confirming my prescription's readiness - which would have taken mere seconds - she continued shouting. Even medical professionals don't exhibit such unprofessional conduct. They should be compassionate and supportive. When someone reaches out with a medical need, they are inherently vulnerable. To management: please train your reception staff to understand they serve sick, fragile individuals. If they cannot handle such interactions, they are unsuited to this profession.
