Rude receptionist ruins patient experience

I recently visited for an appointment and experienced a frustrating situation. After waiting for an extended period, I approached the reception to inquire about my status. Unfortunately, the interaction with the receptionist was far from pleasant. Despite my attempts to explain that I had indeed checked in, which could have been verified through security footage, the receptionist dismissed my claims without listening. The manner in which I was addressed felt disrespectful and demeaning, as if I were beneath her. This encounter highlighted a significant need for improved customer service training at Farnham Road Surgery. As taxpayers who contribute substantially to the system, we deserve to be treated with respect and dignity. The lack of basic etiquette and communication skills displayed by the staff member was deeply disappointing. Given this unsatisfactory experience, I'm seriously considering transferring to a different medical practice, even if it means traveling further. I would caution others to carefully consider their options before registering with this surgery. It's regrettable that what should be a place of care and support has left me feeling so disheartened. The management at Farnham Road Surgery must address these issues to ensure better patient experiences in the future.
