Rude receptionist slams phone on patient's request

I encountered an extremely discourteous receptionist while attempting to follow up on a prescription request for my elderly mother. Instead of providing constructive assistance, the staff member offered unsolicited advice and was completely unhelpful. When I politely requested help with obtaining a repeat prescription, she abruptly terminated the call. The unprofessional conduct reflects poorly on the entire healthcare service, and I find the staff's behavior unacceptable and deeply disrespectful. The receptionist did not even have the decency to identify herself, demonstrating a complete lack of basic telephone etiquette. I would find immense satisfaction in reporting this incident to the General Pharmaceutical Council. This unacceptable interaction occurred on July 1st around 5 PM. I urgently request an investigation into the staff member's conduct and recommend comprehensive training in communication and customer service. Furthermore, I seek guidance on the formal complaint procedure to address this unacceptable treatment.
