Rude receptionists ruined my medical visit

I've been to this medical center several times. The doctors seemed pleasant enough. However, the practice is incredibly overcrowded. I've encountered problems with some of the front desk staff. As other reviewers have noted, certain receptionists come across as discourteous and aggressive, often speaking condescendingly to patients. I suspect these interactions might be influenced by my accent, a challenge I've experienced elsewhere in the UK. Despite holding a master's degree and working professionally, where my accent has never been an issue, I find their behavior unacceptable. It's unacceptable to have reception staff who appear unwilling to communicate with people based on their accent, who seemingly judge patients' intelligence or capabilities. This is particularly inappropriate in a diverse area like Ilford with its multicultural population. Perhaps hiring younger, more inclusive staff or implementing cultural sensitivity training could help address these problems. Additionally, one of the doctors made an audible expression of surprise when I described my profession, which I found quite irritating.
