Rude receptionists ruined my patient care

I'm giving two stars solely for the exceptional general practitioners and a few compassionate receptionists. However, the low rating stems from the small group of incredibly discourteous, dismissive, and abrupt receptionists who seem to believe they can arbitrarily deny patients with chronic pain and block continuity of care from established GPs who are actively investigating symptoms. I was bluntly told to either contact NHS 111 or go to A&E. When I asked this individual to clarify her directive, she repeated her unhelpful advice. Fortunately, after calling back to inquire about my test results, I connected with a fantastic receptionist who genuinely cares about her patients and takes pride in her work. I cannot comprehend why this practice continues to employ such problematic staff members. I've experienced similar situations countless times here. I want to express gratitude to the dedicated and kind receptionists, nurses, and doctors who work tirelessly. Please address the behavior of the problematic employees. I've been a patient at this surgery since childhood, and it was never like this before. My heart goes out to those who might feel intimidated or vulnerable in such an environment!
