Rude Staff and Unprofessional Medical Care

One star is far too generous. This practice is led by a tyrannical, authoritarian leader who believes she has the power to arbitrarily decide whether patients can access critical, life-preserving medication. The reception staff have been caught deliberately falsifying customer contact information and then denying their actions. Moreover, while in the waiting area, they unprofessionally gossip about callers after ending phone calls, openly discussing private medical details within earshot of other patients. They adamantly refuse to accept repeat prescriptions from pharmacies, a practice most GP surgeries readily accommodate. They disingenuously claim this is NHS policy, though no other surgery recognizes such a rule. Their technological infrastructure remains archaic, with a heavy reliance on outdated paper documentation. When scheduling appointments, reception staff demand patients reveal personal medical details. While patients have the right to decline, staff will obstruct appointment booking unless their demands are met. Should a complaint be filed, the practice manager responds with intimidating emails, insisting on a 'meeting' to 'educate' the patient about proper communication, with veiled threats of removing them from the practice's patient list. Dr Elias once verbally berated a patient so aggressively that the entire waiting room could hear his tirade, declaring this individual the sole 'annoying and difficult' patient among 9000. The patient was audibly distressed, and upon leaving in tears, was mockingly laughed at by a young Asian receptionist, both during and after the encounter. In conclusion, this surgery represents a fundamental failure in medical ethics and patient care. Their conduct is shameful and unprofessional. Patients should absolutely avoid registering with this practice.
