Rude staff made scheduling an appointment impossible

I seldom write reviews, but I feel driven to describe my recent interaction with the front desk team at Dr. Mathukia's practice. Regrettably, the customer service was appallingly substandard. During my attempt to schedule an appointment, I was repeatedly questioned, "What is the purpose of your visit?"—not merely for documentation, but seemingly to determine whether I should consult the physician or simply visit a pharmacy. Such decisions are completely outside their professional scope. Despite lacking medical credentials, they presumed to evaluate the legitimacy of my health concerns. Their approach struck me as dismissive, patronizing, and fundamentally irresponsible. Reception staff should facilitate patient access to care, not serve as arbitrary barriers. My legitimate concerns were summarily dismissed, leaving me feeling marginalized, angry, and fundamentally unvalued. This treatment falls far below acceptable standards for patients seeking medical assistance. Individuals contact healthcare facilities because they require support, not to endure invasive questioning or arbitrary rejection by untrained personnel. This conduct reflects poorly on both the individual staff members and the entire medical practice. I sincerely hope Dr. Mathukia's clinic carefully considers this feedback and reassesses their staff training protocols. No patient should ever feel diminished when attempting to obtain necessary medical care.
