Rude staff pushed us to emergency room

The front desk personnel clearly lack proper customer service skills. Telling a patient to go to the emergency room when they simply need a prescription for a chronic condition is unacceptable. Two of the practice's physicians have explicitly instructed us to request antibiotics at the first sign of symptom recurrence before a scheduled procedure. We've spent two days attempting to obtain a prescription, only to be repeatedly informed that all appointments are fully booked and advised to call back the next day. Given the current situation, we will indeed follow the receptionist's suggestion and seek treatment at the emergency department.
