Scott's Team Saved My Life

Originally a smooth surgical experience, with phenomenal nursing and technical staff despite subpar general practitioner care. A special mention to Scott, who exemplifies professional excellence. The doctors, however, were a completely different scenario: dismissing symptoms, disregarding requests, and diagnosing through academic credentials. I was informed that my recurring eye swelling was attributed to poor hygiene. Remarkably, no one inquired about my actual hygiene routine, and the assessment was conducted remotely via telephone (!). My throat irritation was casually dismissed as "likely a cold", my intermittent balance loss labeled as "stress". When examining my ear for phantom sensations, the doctor claimed it was "just debris and dirt" in the canal. Subsequently, I scheduled an ear cleaning, and the technician's images revealed perfectly clean ear canals, even apologizing for charging for the visit. The physicians were aggressively intent on minimizing my NHS interactions, attempting to eliminate medications and follow-ups, and essentially treating me like an anxious hypochondriac. Eventually, I utilized the private healthcare provided through my workplace. My private physician discovered a 25mm cancerous tumor affecting my lymph nodes (explaining the eye swelling and throat complications) and an inner ear condition responsible for my dizziness and balance disruptions. But apparently, I was just a hypochondriac. Steer clear.
