Sent between pharmacy and doctor without help

I felt the experience was unsatisfactory. My daughter was unwell with symptoms including a high temperature, throat discomfort, and a respiratory condition. When I contacted the practice in the morning to request an appointment, I was redirected to the pharmacy, who then directed me back to the practice. There was a delay of around 15 minutes due to traffic congestion during the busy festive period. The clinician declined to see us and instead advised us to attend the emergency department. Managing all of this in a single day while my daughter was ill was frustrating. Overall, I felt the standard of care provided fell short of expectations.
