Shingles Vaccine Concerns at Mayfield Practice

On April 25th, I scheduled an appointment for a shingles vaccination, which I received from Nurse Vicky at Mayfield on May 6th. Since then, I've been feeling unwell, experiencing persistent fatigue, fluctuating body temperature, and a persistent, intense headache. After consulting Dr. Newark by phone, he confirmed Zostavax as the most cost-effective option, acknowledging its previous ban in the United States. Upon further research, I discovered the vaccine is only 51% effective and potentially causes shingles and a form of retinitis. My consultation with Dr. Rodriguez McCullough on the 18th, while pleasant and cordial, provided no substantive assistance. I believe the medical practice has fundamentally failed in their professional responsibility to provide adequate care. My sincere hope is that other patients are not subjected to similar treatment.
