Slow service improved after customer feedback call

The process was frustratingly sluggish. I submitted a medical document requiring signature and made multiple courtesy calls requesting expedited processing before my submission deadline. Throughout, I remained patient and clearly communicated my circumstances. Their standard turnaround window is 28 days, and with my own deadline at 27 days, they deliberately waited until the final possible moment to complete the paperwork, despite my repeated earlier requests. Additionally, the entire procedure was unnecessarily complicated by the requirement of comprehensive medical history documentation. I learned that a colleague had her physician handle this section directly, an alternative approach never suggested to me. Ultimately, while the staff maintained a polite demeanor, their actual efficiency left much to be desired. Update: Encouragingly, the physician responsible for my documentation reached out personally, discussing the situation and proposing potential remedies. His proactive response was reassuring and demonstrates a genuine commitment to addressing patient feedback.
