Smooth healthcare experience with seamless digital referral

Satisfactory appointment with a positive experience of the new digital system, which is incredibly user-friendly. I'm eagerly anticipating full implementation across all departments, as it will eliminate the frustrating routine of repeatedly calling and being told no appointments are available. My doctor committed to referring me to a specialist, and I've already received an NHS text confirming they've received the referral and will contact me soon to schedule an appointment. In the past, I've encountered issues where reception claimed to have sent referrals, but hospitals reported no record, only to suddenly acknowledge the referral later. I suspect this was more likely a result of inadequate staff training rather than intentional misrepresentation.
