Staff are kind but referrals happen too often

The nursing team and other staff members are excellent. However, we have had repeated experiences with one particular clinician who appears to favour referring patients to other services or facilities rather than addressing concerns directly at the practice (this has occurred on multiple occasions). Even when I anticipate my query could be resolved promptly, I find myself frequently having to leave work to travel to different clinics across the area. As the sole driver in my household, these journeys create considerable disruption to my working day. This pattern of referrals has left me questioning whether the approach taken is the most efficient use of primary care resources.
