Staff were dismissive when I called for an appointment

The reception staff came across as dismissive and unhelpful during my interaction. I felt there was a poor attitude displayed towards patients and the conversation became confrontational. The clinic advises calling at 8:30 but the lines are not answered at that time, and when contact is finally made around 2:00, all available slots have already been allocated. This makes it extremely difficult to secure an appointment when needed. Waiting two weeks is not always feasible, particularly when urgent care is required. Accessing appointments at this practice appears to be a significant challenge. The reception team seems to spend considerable time in conversation with one another rather than attending to patient calls. If the phone lines were genuinely as overwhelmed as suggested, one would expect staff to be consistently engaged with incoming calls throughout the day.
