Telephone appointments drive me crazy

This medical practice used to be top-notch, but now it's fallen apart. I'm increasingly frustrated with the constant telephone consultations. It's impossible to discuss medical concerns adequately over the phone because you're treated like a processed item on an assembly line. You schedule a call for a specific time, yet receive it at a completely different hour, and if you happen to miss it, there's no follow-up. Everyone understands that reaching this surgery by phone is about as easy as communicating with a distant space mission. I'd consider changing practices, but the doctors themselves are truly exceptional - it's just the process of accessing their care that feels like an arduous journey across a vast, unforgiving desert. They desperately need to reassess their appointment system and these seemingly infinite wait times.
