Terrible customer service at local medical practice

I endured incredibly long wait times today - 40 minutes this morning and another 35 minutes this afternoon - only to be treated with shocking disrespect by the receptionist when attempting to schedule a blood test. My husband has been receiving blood work at this GP for nearly a decade without any complications, so this experience was completely unexpected. The receptionist actually laughed at me and then told me not to "shoot the messenger" when I expressed my frustration. Furthermore, they claimed the asthma nurse tried calling me twice yesterday, which is entirely false - I am not asthmatic and have no missed calls on my phone. I'm utterly bewildered by what has happened to this medical practice, but it's clear the quality of service has dramatically deteriorated.
