Terrible customer service at medical office nightmare

In a rush for my scheduled visit, I encountered a frustrating experience. While waiting on hold (7th in line), the receptionist took an excessive amount of time to locate my information. A staff member from the back office then commented dismissively about ongoing phone lines, including the cancellation line. Despite clarifying I didn't want to cancel, the doctor refused to see me. When I attempted to reschedule, the only available slot conflicted with my existing commitments. The receptionist's response was dismissive, essentially saying there were no alternatives. I'm left wondering about the basic courtesy we expect in professional settings - shouldn't patients receive the same level of respect they're expected to show?
