Terrible customer service at medical practice nightmare

Recently, my physician recommended medication and instructed me to schedule a follow-up visit if my condition didn't improve. This morning, I attempted to book an appointment and endured a 35-minute wait before someone finally picked up. The receptionist informed me the doctor would simply phone me. Upon clarifying that my doctor had specifically requested an in-person consultation, she abruptly terminated the call without any explanation. I redialed, waited another 30 minutes, and was connected to the same employee. When I requested her identification for filing a formal complaint, she flatly denied our previous interaction and promptly disconnected the call once more. Utterly unacceptable conduct that demonstrates a complete lack of patient compassion and professionalism, particularly towards someone experiencing discomfort and diligently following medical guidance. I will certainly be escalating this matter to the NHS complaints department.
