Terrible doctor who doesn't listen or respect

I accompanied my partner to their medical appointment today, which was a significant milestone given their anxiety about healthcare settings. Unfortunately, our experience with Dr. Emanuel Haciaturian was deeply disappointing. He seemed inappropriately preoccupied with our relationship status as a same-sex couple, even including this irrelevant detail in his referral letter to the clinic. When we explained my partner was seeking an autism assessment, he dismissively responded with the outdated and invalidating statement, "Well, you can talk to me, so it probably isn't autism" - a prime example of medical gaslighting. I'm exhausted by healthcare professionals who consistently underestimate patients' understanding of their own health conditions, especially when we arrive prepared with comprehensive research and evidence. In the past, we've had a much more positive interaction with Dr. Wolfgang (whose last name escapes me), and we'll definitely request him for future appointments if he's still practicing. As an additional frustration, the two-month wait to secure this appointment was absolutely ridiculous.
