Terrible gp practice with unhelpful clinicians

Carol at reception was exceptional. She consistently greeted patients warmly as "sweets" and demonstrated genuine kindness, patience, and a commitment to helping secure appointments. The original medical team (2007-2015) led by Dr. C Duggal was outstanding. However, I've now definitively decided to terminate my relationship with this practice. 1. Navigating their system requires getting past gatekeeping receptionists 2. Your medical case must first pass a triage evaluation to be deemed appointment-worthy 3. You'll receive a callback from a "clinician" who represents the epitome of cold, dismissive unprofessionalism. This individual will systematically undermine your concerns, lecture condescendingly, make false promises, and ultimately waste your time. For weeks, I persistently sought help when my two toddters were experiencing severe coughing and respiratory distress. Initially, I was casually informed it was viral and even suggested to take them to the park. My repeated follow-ups resulted in inconsistent treatment: one child received antibiotics after four doctor consultations, while the other was repeatedly told to wait and be re-triaged - a process consuming an additional five days. Desperate, I shared antibiotics between my children. Within two days, I urgently hospitalized them, where doctors confirmed whooping cough and criticized the initially prescribed inappropriate medication. Parents and elderly patients: urgently seek alternative medical care. I underwent an overnight ECG monitoring in October 2024 and am still pursuing results in January 2025, with the practice merely promising to contact the hospital after my persistent inquiries. Their approach effectively treats patients like insignificant, powerless supplicants. ----------------------------- Previous Review 7 years ago Satisfactory service. Acceptable wait times
