Terrible healthcare experience leaves patient frustrated and sick

Been sick for a fortnight, suffering from persistent cough, fever, and temperature fluctuations, the 111 service suggested calling emergency services. After medical checks, the ambulance recommended contacting my GP and then Cherrymead Surgery. Attempting to book an appointment proved impossible - no available slots. Called right after 8am the next day, still no appointment, and the third day was equally unsuccessful. This organization's incompetence is infuriating. I've paid national insurance for 17 years and rarely visited a doctor, yet now I'm losing work days without pay. All I require are antibiotics to combat this virus, but apparently nobody gives a damn. This healthcare system is a complete joke, and I'm seriously considering cancelling my NHS contribution as it's absolutely unacceptable.
