Terrible healthcare experience with unhelpful surgery staff

I've been a patient at this Surgery for a decade and have encountered several disappointing experiences. The most recent incident left me thoroughly distressed. I was scheduled for a telephone consultation with a window between 10 and 12, which essentially meant sacrificing two entire hours of my day, mindlessly waiting by my phone for a potential call. Coincidentally, I had another telephone appointment that same day with the Endoscopy department at Yeovil Hospital regarding my upcoming colonoscopy. Unfortunately, the GP from the Surgery called precisely during my hospital appointment, causing me to miss a crucial call about my son's abnormal liver function results. Immediately after realizing the missed call, I contacted the Surgery, explained the situation, and desperately requested to speak with a doctor. The receptionist responded with remarkable coldness, declaring that the doctor would not be available and the next appointment was in 12 days. Twelve days of unbearable anxiety and worry. Their apparent lack of compassion and unwillingness to spare even five minutes to discuss these critical blood results is deeply disheartening. Truly sad.
