Terrible healthcare leaving patients feeling abandoned and unheard

After being diagnosed with type 1 diabetes, I was simply handed insulin and left to manage on my own. My medical consultations are infrequent, and when I do see someone about my persistent pain, they completely disregard my concerns. One physician even had the audacity to ask me what I wanted to do about my pain - isn't that their professional responsibility? The nurses promised to contact me weekly to check my blood work, but I haven't heard from them in three weeks. Getting an appointment is a challenge in itself. When I tried to schedule a visit for my 4-year-old who's suffering from recurring ear infections, I was told no slots were available. They claimed they would note this down, but how could they possibly do that when they didn't even bother to take her name? The entire healthcare experience has been nothing short of utterly incompetent and frustrating.
