Terrible healthcare scheduling hurts patient recovery

Getting an appointment here is a nightmare. Physicians contact patients at random, with zero advance warning, leaving people in impossible situations - whether they're driving, working, or resting. This approach is especially cruel for patients battling serious health conditions, who are already waiting anxiously for medical attention. They urgently need care but risk missing crucial calls while trying to recuperate, then face another week-long wait for a new appointment slot. Now that COVID restrictions have lifted and technology has advanced, there's no excuse for this archaic communication method. Providing even a basic one-hour window for contact isn't complicated. This unpredictable approach is fundamentally unfair and, based on my interactions with others, generates significant stress - which is counterproductive to healing and managing any medical condition. Patients deserve better, more considerate communication that respects their time and well-being.
