Terrible healthcare service that needs serious help

Utterly Inadequate Service Demands Urgent Reform Interacting with this GP surgery has become an exercise in pure frustration and complete inefficiency. Securing an appointment was challenging before, but the COVID era has exponentially worsened the experience. My wife recently attempted to schedule a consultation. Calling at 9:00 AM, she was abruptly informed all slots were exhausted and advised to call earlier. The next day, following their guidance precisely, she encountered identical roadblocks. A promised callback from a doctor materialized three days later, inconveniently timed when she couldn't possibly engage. The online booking alternative proves equally dysfunctional. Navigating the form consumes approximately half an hour, with absolutely no appointment guarantee. One can waste an entire day awaiting a response, which typically arrives with the dismissive explanation: "We're experiencing doctor shortages." Such service standards are completely unacceptable. Patients are entitled to a dependable and accessible healthcare system. This surgery desperately needs to implement a modern booking mechanism allowing patients to select their preferred date and time — a fundamental feature still absent years after the pandemic's peak. This practice must urgently confront its systemic failures and dramatically enhance patient care accessibility.
