Terrible healthcare service with rude and unhelpful staff

One star feels like an overstatement. I rarely post negative reviews, but I'm compelled to share my frustrating experience. I was forced to travel 30 minutes to my family's home just to contact my GP, simply because I honestly mentioned my internet was temporarily down. Despite explaining my situation, I was told I must schedule an appointment only when my internet is working or find alternative internet access. The receptionist clearly doesn't understand basic courtesy and becomes argumentative when you point out their rudeness. When they finally agree to help, they casually state they'll enter my details when they have 5 minutes, without guaranteeing it'll be done before midday - knowing full well this delay will extend my waiting time. Their behavior is absolutely appalling, and the NHS seems oblivious to why patients feel let down. We're compelled to pay national insurance with no opt-out, yet they have the nerve to treat us this way. Ironically, animals receive more compassionate healthcare than humans. I'm left feeling deeply frustrated and humiliated. Urgent changes are needed, starting with the receptionist's attitude and the surgery's entire approach to patient care.
