Terrible manager ruins patient experience with rudeness

The practice manager's behavior was utterly unacceptable. After consulting with reception to verify our wait time, which had exceeded an hour, I politely inquired about meeting with the practice manager to discuss the excessive delay. The reception staff were courteous as always. When the manager arrived, she immediately misaddressed me, accused me of being aggressive and loud, despite my calm demeanor, and refused to hear my reasonable concern. I was stunned, knowing I would never raise my voice in front of my toddler or in a public setting with other patients and staff present. Her hostility stemmed from being pulled away from a meeting, and she directed her frustration directly at me. Fortunately, my doctor, who has always been excellent, intervened and dismissed her when it became clear she had no intention of helping. I am deeply concerned that vulnerable patients might be subjected to such an unprofessional individual when attempting to lodge a complaint. What began as a simple, constructive observation about unrealistic wait times has now escalated into a much more serious issue, and I am compelled to pursue this matter further to prevent similar mistreatment of other patients.
