Terrible medical practice with zero patient care

This medical practice is an absolute farce. Recently, my young son (3 years old) sustained an injury, and after consulting 111, we were advised he urgently needed medical attention within an hour. When we contacted the surgery, their response was dismissive and cold: "We can't see him" - showing zero empathy for a child's medical needs. They callously redirected us to A and E, which is absurd given how overwhelmed emergency services already are, and especially since 111 didn't even consider the injury serious enough for that route. Today, my husband attempted to schedule an appointment and was forced to use their online system - which is completely dysfunctional. The process involves submitting a request with a promised two-day response time - how is this remotely helpful to anyone?! While their FAQs claim phone booking remains available for those with accessibility challenges, the receptionist conveniently omitted this information. The online booking interface is incredibly convoluted - and I'm relatively tech-savvy, so I can only imagine how bewildering it must be for less digitally comfortable individuals. They seem to believe they're improving services by reducing phone traffic, but they're actually creating barriers to medical access instead of genuinely addressing underlying communication problems.
