Terrible medical service and pharmacy nightmare

Having recently relocated to Southwater from Bookham in Surrey, I've encountered a deeply disappointing experience with the local medical centre and Boots pharmacy. My initial interaction with the healthcare services has been frustratingly inefficient and disorganized. After submitting a prescription request via email and following up by phone, I was assured it was being processed and would be available at the nearby Boots. Despite waiting an extra day, when I arrived at the pharmacy, my prescription was nowhere to be found. Checking with the surgery, I learned it had been sent to a doctor on holiday, requiring reassignment to another physician, which would further delay my medication. After returning home, I received a call indicating the prescription was now at Boots. However, at the pharmacy, an unhelpful staff member informed me of an extensive wait, suggesting I return in 20-30 minutes. Upon my return, another employee revealed the medication wasn't even in stock, instructing me to come back the following morning with a promise to contact me. Compared to the excellent service I previously received in Bookham, this experience has been nothing short of abysmal. If I could assign zero stars, I absolutely would. Truly shocking service.
