Terrible medical service leaves patient frustrated

What an absolute farce of a medical practice.... I was placed on a waiting list two months ago for an implant procedure. Two weeks back, I was told I was next in line for scheduling. On Tuesday midday, I missed their call due to work and attempted to call back during my lunch break, spending 20 minutes on hold during my brief half-hour lunch. I tried three times that afternoon with no success. Wednesday's attempt revealed the slot was now fully booked. I explained to the receptionist that I was working when they originally called and argued that being at the top of a two-month waiting list should guarantee a saved appointment slot for working patients. Their response? Completely dismissive. This surgery is abysmal - constantly pushing e-consultations, sending contradictory emails about booking and doctor callbacks, with reception insisting their system shows conflicting information. I haven't seen my doctor in a year, not since having my baby. I've complained twice and received nothing but "it is what it is" responses, continually blaming COVID. How long can they maintain this unacceptable standard? I'm absolutely taking this further and will be filing an official report.
