Terrible reception but dr sandhu saves the day

The practice operates with the most incompetent and unethical standards imaginable. It appears the staff are incentivized to avoid booking patient appointments. I have repeatedly called the surgery over recent weeks. They seem to employ every possible strategy to minimize their workload, consistently deflecting bookings and directing patients to an online system at 8am. My attempts to secure an appointment have been overwhelmingly unsuccessful, with the system either non-functional or claiming daily booking quotas have been reached. In the rare instance I managed to see a doctor - once in 11 attempts - Dr Sandhu demonstrated exceptional professionalism, immediately arranging an urgent MRI referral. My previous interaction with Dr Kumar years ago was similarly positive, though these isolated experiences cannot compensate for the overall poor service. Even this morning, 30/11/2023 @ 08.27, I remain on hold after 22 minutes, positioned as caller number 7, while the online booking system refuses any appointments until 8am tomorrow. Update: 7th December 2023. Following another consultation with Dr Sandhu, I'm genuinely impressed by her consistent professionalism. She thoughtfully listened to my concerns regarding patient communication and promised to relay my suggestions to the practice's leadership. She articulated the challenging circumstances doctors face, providing context for patients' frustrated reviews. Conclusion: The doctors I've encountered (Dr Kumar JR and Dr Sandhu) are thoroughly professional and compassionate. While front-of-house staff may be overwhelmed, they could significantly improve patient interactions with increased empathy. Simply redirecting patients to an unreliable online booking tool is fundamentally inadequate.
